
Investigation underway for fatal crash and car fire on Highway 9 near Kremmling.
There was a fatal two-vehicle collision and fire on Highway 9 in Grand County, Colorado on Monday morning. Colorado State Patrol responded to the crash near milepost 136, involving a Ford F-150 and an SUV that caught fire. The driver of the Ford sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital, while all occupants of the SUV were pronounced dead at the scene. Due to the severe damage and fire, the number of individuals in the SUV is still uncertain. Highway 9 is currently closed for investigation, with recommended alternative routes.
