Investigation underway for deadly Montano Road crash
Deputies from the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office responded to a fatal crash on Wednesday afternoon. The incident took place on westbound Montano Road east of the river. Upon their arrival, officers found the driver inside the vehicle and attempted to save them, but unfortunately, they were unsuccessful. Thankfully, they were able to safely rescue a small pug that was also in the vehicle. Witnesses mentioned seeing the driver exhibiting erratic driving behavior prior to the crash.
