
Investigation underway after shooting causes car crash in South Sacramento
The Sacramento Police Department is currently looking into a shooting incident that resulted in a car accident on Monday afternoon. They responded to reports of a collision at Franklin and Center Parkway around 5 p.m. According to a person involved in the crash, the other driver had been shot. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the victim with a gunshot wound and he was taken to the hospital for treatment. The exact condition of the victim is unknown at this time. Authorities suspect the shooting may have taken place on Florin Road before the victim drove to the location where the crash occurred on Franklin. The incident is still being investigated.
