Investigation ongoing into fatal crash with Texas A&M student.
On the evening of March 20, 2025, at 10:15 p.m., the College Station Police Department (CSPD) received multiple reports of a pedestrian running into Wellborn Rd. and being hit by a vehicle close to the intersection of Fidelity St. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered the victim, named Nikman Sarraf, aged 19, a student at Texas A&M University from Austin, with serious injuries. Sarraf was taken to a local hospital but unfortunately did not survive. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and assisted authorities during the inquiry, which involved the Accident Reconstruction Unit, Crime Scene Unit, Detectives, and Public Information Officer. The road was reopened at approximately 2:30 a.m. as the investigation continues.
