Investigation ongoing into deadly motorcycle accident in Miami Township
A tragic motorcycle accident occurred early on Saturday morning on State Route 28 in Miami Township. The Ohio State Highway Patrol's Batavia Post is currently looking into the incident, which involved a single motorcycle. The crash occurred at around 2 a.m. near Business 28 in Miami Township. According to OSP, the motorcycle operator, Christopher McGrath, aged 44, was heading southwest on SR-28 when he failed to navigate a curve and the motorcycle flipped over. Despite wearing a helmet, McGrath sustained fatal injuries and passed away at the scene. Multiple agencies including the Miami Township Police Department, Miami Township Fire and EMS, Milford Police Department, and the Clermont County Coroner's Office assisted in responding to the crash. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
