Investigation ongoing into deadly accident by Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Kosciusko County authorities are looking into a collision that resulted in the death of a 94-year-old man on Tuesday morning. The incident involved a pickup truck and a box truck at the intersection of SR 15 and CR 200 S in Warsaw. The individual driving the pickup truck, identified as Gene B. Butts, was tragically killed in the crash, while the driver of the box truck and the passengers were unharmed. It remains unclear which vehicle had the right of way at the intersection, and the investigation is being handled by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Office FACT Team. Multiple emergency response teams were involved in providing assistance at the scene.
