Investigation of fatal crash closes Highway 120 near Escalon
One individual has tragically lost their life and three others, including two minors, have been injured following a collision on Highway 120 near Escalon on Wednesday evening, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The incident occurred when a Toyota Highlander traveling west veered into the eastbound lane for reasons yet to be determined, resulting in a head-on collision with a farm vehicle. The driver of the Highlander was pronounced deceased at the scene, with their identity currently undisclosed. The two juvenile passengers in the vehicle and the farm vehicle driver sustained serious injuries. Traffic diversions were implemented at Brennan and Van Allen roads, and motorists were advised to seek alternate routes.
