Investigation of deadly head-on collision in KCMO at dawn
The police in Kansas City, Missouri are looking into a tragic crash that took place early last Saturday near the intersection of Independence Ave. and Jackson Ave. around 3:30 a.m. During their investigation, the authorities discovered that the driver of a silver Chevrolet Malibu had crossed over into the opposite lanes of Independence Avenue and was traveling in the wrong direction. Consequently, the Chevrolet collided head-on with a silver Ford Taurus traveling in the correct lane, resulting in severe injuries. The driver of the Ford sustained critical injuries and remains in critical condition at the hospital, while the driver of the Chevrolet unfortunately passed away. Additionally, a passenger in the Chevrolet was also taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition.
