Investigation launched into severe accident close to Cottonwood Mall
The Albuquerque Police Department (APD) is looking into a severe two-vehicle collision that caused traffic delays on the west side for several hours on Sunday morning. At approximately 3:15 a.m., authorities were notified about a crash near Coors Bypass and Ellison Dr. APD discovered a vehicle overturned with a man stuck inside. Emergency response units managed to rescue the individual and take him to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The incident is currently being investigated, and News 13 will continue to share new information as it arises.
