Investigation into fatal head-on collision in Fulton County
The Georgia State Patrol is currently looking into a tragic collision that occurred in Fulton County. The incident took place around 7 p.m. on State Route 70 near Rico Road. Reports indicate that a Toyota Camry was heading east but suddenly crossed into the westbound lanes, resulting in a head-on collision with a Toyota Tacoma. Sadly, the driver of the Camry lost their life in the crash. The impact was severe, causing the Tacoma to catch fire; however, the driver managed to escape unharmed. The Tacoma driver was transported to a hospital for treatment and is expected to recover. Investigators are working to determine the cause of the Camry driver's lane deviation.
