Investigation into fatal crash along State Route 32 in Ohio
PIKE COUNTY, Ohio (WOWK) - Authorities are investigating following a deadly crash along State Route 32. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Portsmouth Dispatch Center received the call for the crash on State Route 31 at U.S. Route 23 at 7:48 a.m. Following a preliminary investigation, it is believed that a 2007 Nissan Alitma was driving westbound on State Route 32 before veering off the right side of the roadway and striking a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. The pickup truck was stopped at the stop sign on the southbound ramp from U.S. Route 23. The driver of the Nissan, Terry McBee, age 74 of Beaver, Ohio, died of his injuries as a result of the crash. The driver of the Chevrolet had no apparent injury. This crash remains under investigation.
