Investigation into Fatal Cornish Crash by Maine State Police
A tragic incident occurred on Monday in Cornish, where a woman from Limerick lost her life in a head-on collision on Sokokis Trail. Maine State Police reported the incident, stating that at approximately 1:42 p.m., 51-year-old Dawn Webber, driving a Ford Fusion northbound, crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Ford F-350 towing two pickup trucks. Sadly, Webber did not survive the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the F-350 was unharmed. Following the accident, the road was closed for about six hours for investigation purposes. Maine State Police continue to investigate the crash.
