Investigation into Fatal Accident on Route 24 in Illinois
A tragic incident occurred early Saturday evening on U.S. Route 24 in Peoria County, Illinois, resulting in the death of a man. Illinois State Police troopers responded to a medical emergency call at around 7:54 p.m. near Glasford Road. Upon arrival, they discovered a car in the ditch with the man inside who was pronounced dead at the scene. The lanes on Route 24 were reopened at about 10:54 p.m. that evening.
