Investigation into deadly crash in Schoharie
Authorities are currently investigating a tragic incident on I-88 in Schoharie, New York that resulted in a fatality. The New York State Police were alerted to the crash early in the morning and responded to find a vehicle in distress. Despite attempts to assist the driver, they were unable to save them and the individual was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle had veered off the eastbound side of the highway and ended up on the westbound lane after an apparent medical emergency. Crews are working to clear the blocked lane and shoulder as the investigation continues.
