Investigation into deadly Colonie pedestrian accident by Attorney General’s Office
A pedestrian tragically lost their life after being hit by an off-duty Colonie Police Department officer in a recent incident on Old Loudon Road in Latham. The victim, who was struck shortly after 10 p.m. on May 27, succumbed to their injuries at the hospital on June 2. The New York State Attorney General's Office has launched an investigation into the matter, as Officer Jason Tusch was identified as the driver involved and has since been put on administrative leave.
