Investigation initiated for fatal incident in Carroll County
A tragic collision occurred in Carroll County early Saturday morning resulting in the death of one individual. According to authorities, the crash took place on Maryland Route 97 near Humbert Schoolhouse Road when a northbound GMC Canyon veered across the center line and collided with a Ford van. The driver of the van, whose identity is currently undisclosed, was fatally injured in the accident. Christopher Wolf, 36, the driver of the GMC Canyon, sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital for medical attention. Investigators are actively looking into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
