Investigation begins into fatal Gold Canyon accident.
A tragic incident occurred late Friday night near Gold Canyon, where four individuals lost their lives in a fatal two-car collision on eastbound U.S. 60 near Peralta Road. The Superstition Fire & Medical District responded to find one vehicle ablaze and multiple patients ejected. Unfortunately, three individuals succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while another victim passed away at the hospital. The department extended its heartfelt condolences to all affected by this devastating event, as investigations by the Arizona Dept. of Public Safety are underway to determine the cause of the crash.
