Interstate 94 in Dunn County closed due to crash; 1 person injured.
An accident involving two commercial vehicles in western Wisconsin on Monday morning has resulted in the closure of part of Interstate 94. A commercial vehicle driver was traveling slowly on the shoulder of eastbound I-94 in Dunn County, near Menomonie, around 11 a.m. when it was rear-ended by another commercial vehicle, causing one of the vehicles to catch fire. A passenger in one of the vehicles sustained minor injuries, though the number of occupants in each vehicle is unknown. Both vehicles sustained severe damage, as confirmed by the state patrol. As of 2 p.m., all eastbound lanes on I-94 near the crash site are shut down, and drivers are being redirected.
