Interstate 25 in Castle Rock reopened after collision, per Colorado Department of Transportation.

Interstate 25 in Castle Rock has been reopened following a morning crash, as confirmed by the Colorado Department of Transportation. The incident, reported by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office just before 8:30 a.m., occurred north of Wolffensberger Road. By 10 a.m., the highway was accessible again, as stated by the sheriff's office. CDOT traffic cameras showed traffic congestion above Castle Rock Parkway around 9 a.m., but by 10 a.m., the flow had improved although a police presence was still visible. A spokesperson from the Colorado State Patrol reported that a vehicle had collided with a guardrail, resulting in damage along an extensive section. Information regarding the driver's injuries was not provided, however, it was mentioned that extrication from the vehicle was necessary.
