Interchange near I-11 closed due to 3-vehicle crash; lanes have been reopened
A collision this morning in the southeast Las Vegas valley led to significant traffic delays, as authorities had to close off southbound lanes on U.S. Route 95 and Interstate 11. The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash near I-11 and Galleria Drive. The crash involved a gray Cadillac, a white Subaru, and a gray Hyundai Tucson, leading to the blocking of the first and second lanes. The freeway was temporarily closed at Galleria until the vehicles could be cleared from the area. Passengers in the Hyundai were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Traffic diversions were in place at Galleria Drive, causing congestion that extended all the way to Tropicana Avenue. As the investigation unfolds, all traffic routes have now been reopened.
