Injury reported in Interstate 40 semitrailer collision
Emergency responders from the Moriarty Fire Department attended to a multiple semitrailer and vehicle collision on Interstate 40, resulting in hospitalization of several individuals. The incident, which involved three semitrailers and three vehicles, led to four people being taken to hospitals with varying injuries. The Torrance County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the crash that occurred near mile marker 195 around 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23. Subsequently, westbound traffic was closed.
