Injury reported in airplane accident at Santa Teresa airport
A man suffered serious injuries in a small airplane crash at the Dona Ana County Jetport in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, on the evening of September 6. Emergency responders from Sunland Park Fire Department and Dona Ana Fire Rescue were called to the scene around 5:30 p.m. The pilot, who is in his 40s, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The incident, involving a single-engine Piper plane with only the pilot on board, is currently being investigated by authorities.
