
Injury on I-35 in Temple, southbound traffic redirected
The Temple Police Department is currently at the site of a traffic collision on Interstate 35 southbound at mile marker 303, as reported on Tuesday night. All southbound traffic is being rerouted to the loop as emergency responders address the situation. Those passing through the area are urged to find alternative routes and prepare for potential delays. TXDOT has been called to the location, and one person has been taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Upon their arrival, law enforcement officers discovered an 18-wheeler involved in the accident, which had collided with a concrete wall and jackknifed, partially hanging over a bridge railing and causing a spill of oil and gas on the road. The Temple police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
