Injuries to adult and child in car collision at Lodi school.

Two individuals, one of them a minor, were harmed when a car collided with parked vehicles in front of a school in Lodi on Thursday afternoon. The Lodi police reported that the incident occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. when emergency crews responded to a vehicle collision involving a moving car and two parked vehicles on West Elm Street in the vicinity of Erma B. Reese Elementary School. Law enforcement stated that one of the vehicles smashed into the parked cars at a high speed, ending up lodged beneath one of them. A grown-up and a minor sustained injuries in the accident. Both individuals received initial medical attention on-site and were later taken to San Joaquin General Hospital for further treatment. The current status of the patients was not immediately disclosed. Authorities mentioned they could not confirm if the minor was a student at the school, and it was not immediately evident which vehicle the individuals were traveling in. The cause of the collision is currently being investigated.
