Injuries reported following I-24 crash in Murfreesboro
In Murfreesboro, Tennessee, a multi-vehicle crash on Monday morning on Interstate 24 close to Joe B. Jackson Parkway resulted in injuries to multiple individuals. The incident happened at approximately 6:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-24, near mile marker 84. Following the collision, one of the vehicles ignited, and Rutherford County Fire personnel arrived to put out the fire. The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office reported that emergency responders took numerous injured individuals to Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital. The reason for the crash is still being looked into.
