Individuals wearing ski masks collide with vehicles in pursuit

Five stolen high-performance vehicles were involved in a police chase early on a Thursday morning in Avon, Ohio, resulting in two crashes, one involving a sheriff's deputy. The incident occurred during the busy morning commute when troopers spotted the stolen vehicles on State Route 2 in Lorain County. The drivers were wearing ski masks and speeding without license plates or dealer tags. Law enforcement tried to stop them on State Route 611, leading to one vehicle crashing into another car and a second vehicle hitting a sheriff's cruiser. Two suspects, a 21-year-old and a 15-year-old, were arrested on the scene. Two additional stolen vehicles were found abandoned, with two suspects and one vehicle still at large, including a gray 2023 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 with a black convertible top.
