A crash on Wednesday evening led to significant injuries and the closure of Interstate 95 in Milford, Connecticut. The Milford Fire Department and state police reported that a single vehicle veered off I-95 Southbound near exit 39. The car traveled down a steep embankment, colliding with a tree on the driver's side midair. The driver was trapped between the tree and the door, with their lower body wedged beneath the dashboard. Emergency personnel, including state police and firefighters, worked together to extricate the unconscious but living driver from the scene.
