Illegal maneuver results in severe collision
On Friday night in Mission Valley East, a 33-year-old man on a Suzuki motorcycle was taken to the hospital after a collision with a Nissan Sentra. The incident happened at 8:40 p.m. on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard. The motorcycle rider was between lanes two and three, and the Nissan driver attempted an illegal left turn, leading to the crash. The rider sustained severe injuries including facial lacerations and brain bleeds, and his condition is critical. Alcohol was not involved, and the San Diego Police Department's Traffic Division is investigating.
