Identity revealed of victim in deadly Colorado motorcycle accident
The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) has identified the victim of a fatal collision that took place at West Colorado Avenue and 32nd Street on the early morning of August 31. CSPD received a report about the crash around 12:30 a.m., and upon arrival, officers discovered that a motorcycle had struck a curb after veering off the road. The rider of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene, with no other injuries reported. The Major Crash Team conducted an investigation and determined that speed was a likely factor in the accident. The El Paso County Coroner's Office performed an autopsy on the motorcyclist, confirming his identity as 28-year-old Dylan Hart on September 1, 2025. This incident marked the 39th traffic fatality in Colorado Springs this year, slightly higher than the 37 fatalities recorded at the same time in 2024.
