Identity revealed of Monticello man who died in boat accident - father of 4
Authorities reported that an individual passed away and two others were rescued on Tuesday after their boat capsized on the Mississippi River near the Xcel Energy plant in Monticello. The incident involved 28-year-old Tyler Tasche, who tragically lost his life while fishing with his brother and grandfather when their boat overturned. Tasche is survived by his wife and four children. A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist with funeral costs and provide support for his family during this difficult time. The Wright County Sheriff's Office responded to the capsized boat alert around 10:32 a.m., rescuing two individuals and locating one unresponsive. The circumstances leading to the incident remain under investigation.
