Identity revealed in deadly Glenmont motorcycle accident
Authorities have identified the individual who tragically lost their life in a collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on Route 9W in Glenmont. The incident occurred on Monday around 5 p.m. near Corning Hill Road. According to police, the crash occurred when a southbound vehicle crossed over the center line and collided with a northbound motorcycle operated by Patrick Lafortune Jr., 32, from Schenectady. Lafortune was transported to Albany Medical Center and was sadly pronounced deceased. The driver of the vehicle was unharmed. The circumstances of the accident are currently being investigated.
