Identity of victims in fatal Santa Monica hit-and-run revealed
Authorities have named the two individuals tragically killed by a hit-and-run driver in Santa Monica as Brad Lipshy and Maura Cohen, both aged 61. The incident occurred on Wilshire Boulevard when a driver in an orange Dodge Charger struck the victims while they were on the sidewalk. In addition to Lipshy and Cohen, two other victims were injured but expected to survive. The driver fled the scene on foot after abandoning the vehicle. Police are actively searching for the suspect, described as a Black man wearing specific clothing. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact them immediately.
