Identity of 75-year-old man killed in Ferry Boulevard crash revealed by Stratford police.
A 75-year-old man from Bridgeport has been identified as the victim of a fatal accident that took place on Ferry Boulevard in Stratford last week, according to police reports. The man, Stephen Ferik, passed away after sustaining serious injuries in a single-car crash at approximately 9:10 a.m. on July 1. The incident took place near the intersection with Barnum Avenue Cutoff, with Ferik being the only person in the vehicle at the time. Following the crash, Ferik was taken to Bridgeport Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The police department's crash investigation team is currently working on determining the cause of the accident.
