Identifying victims of fatal crash
The Plano Police Department has identified the two individuals who tragically lost their lives in a crash that occurred on Saturday evening along 14th Street. The incident involved a motorcycle being driven by 21-year-old Elvin Bonilla heading westbound on 14th Street around 7:15 p.m. At the same time, a pickup truck driven by a 33-year-old male was traveling in the opposite direction. As the pickup attempted to make a turn, the motorcycle collided with its passenger side. The passenger in the pickup, identified as 58-year-old Carmina Ramirez, and Bonilla sustained serious injuries. While the driver of the pickup suffered minor injuries, their identity has not been disclosed. Unfortunately, Ramirez and Bonilla succumbed to their injuries after being taken to the hospital. Speed is believed to have played a role in the accident, and investigations are ongoing.
