Identifying victims in fatal crash at Logan City Landfill

The Cache County Sheriff's Office has revealed the names of the two individuals who lost their lives in a fatal accident on Stink Creek Road close to the Logan City Landfill. The victims have been identified as 29-year-old Jace Tanner Dunn and 24-year-old Rose Reed. The tragic crash took place at approximately 6 a.m. on August 5. Upon reaching the accident scene, authorities discovered the wrecked vehicle, Dunn, Reed, and multiple open alcohol containers. Both Dunn and Reed were thrown from the vehicle during the crash and were pronounced deceased at the scene. The Sheriff's Office, through a statement on Tuesday, cited various factors that contributed to the accident, such as high speed, absence of seatbelts, and likely alcohol consumption. Lt. Mikelshan Bartschi expressed deep sympathies to the families of the victims and emphasized the importance of safe driving practices, seatbelt usage, and refraining from driving under the influence of alcohol. It was noted that the police had initially refrained from disclosing the victims' identities until informing their next of kin.
