Identifying one of the victims in fatal Upstate collision

One person involved in a fatal accident in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, has been recognized. The South Carolina Highway Patrol shared that the incident, which occurred at around 3 a.m. on Oct. 18, involved an SUV traveling east on Old Furnace Road near Southland Road. The vehicle veered off the road, hitting a ditch, overturning, and colliding with a tree. The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office reported on Oct. 30 that one of the victims has been identified as Charles Anthony Leslie II, aged 40 and from Boiling Springs. The second victim’s identity is still pending confirmation.
