Identification of Woman Killed in Wednesday Evening Semi Crash on I-96: Tondi Tripp
The Ingham County Sheriff's Office has reported that Tondi Tripp from Okemos, aged 62, was the woman who tragically lost her life in the recent semi truck accident on I-96. Occurring near mile marker 113 in Alaiedon Township, the crash involved a semi truck and a bus, both of which caught fire upon impact. Meridian Township Fire Department confirmed that only Tripp was in the bus at the time. The sheriff's office confirmed her passing at the scene with the semi driver luckily escaping unharmed.
