Identification of woman killed in possible DUI accident in SW Bakersfield: coroner.
The Kern County Coroner's Office has identified the passenger who died in a suspected alcohol-related crash in Bakersfield, Calif. Chasie Aquino Carino was tragically killed in the incident, where a vehicle collided with the one she was in, causing her to be ejected. The crash occurred on Stine Road, involving a vehicle traveling south and another traveling west on Panama Lane around 1:20 a.m. Speed and alcohol are believed to have played a role in the crash. During the investigation, two drivers, Juan Daniel Trujillo and Elizabeth Eden Kirk, were arrested on suspicion of DUI after driving into the crash scene. Both have since been released from custody.
