Identification of woman killed in deadly crash, wrong-way driver accused of accident, multiple charges filed
Authorities have named Raquel Lorena Sarabia Barajas, 37, as the victim of a tragic car accident that took place early Sunday morning at the intersection of Bell Road and Harris Hills Lane. Metro Police reported that the incident involved a Maserati driver, later identified as Julio Ceasar Herrera Gonzalez, 36, crossing into oncoming traffic and colliding with a Nissan carrying Barajas. The driver of the Nissan suffered serious injuries, while Gonzalez sustained minor injuries. Gonzalez is now confronting various charges, including DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
