Identification of victim in Route 22 crash in Lebanon County
State Police reported that a fatal crash occurred at the junction of Allentown Boulevard/Route 22 and Coon Creek Road in East Hanover Township in Lebanon County on Wednesday evening. A 67-year-old man driving a Honda Fit was hit by a SAAB 93B while turning onto Route 22. The driver of the SAAB, identified as Cory Rhoad, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Honda driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Route 22 was closed for approximately five hours before being reopened.
