Identification of victim in deadly August 24th Platte crash
Authorities in Colorado Springs have determined the identity of the victim in a deadly accident that occurred on Platte Avenue last month. The woman, 22-year-old Jessenya Gaytan, was identified by the El Paso County Coroner's Office. The Colorado Springs Police Department's Major Crash Team's preliminary findings suggest that alcohol played a role in the accident. Sadly, this incident marks the 38th traffic-related fatality in Colorado Springs so far this year.
