Identification of those killed in motorcycle crash in west Columbus
In west Columbus, a tragic motorcycle crash claimed the lives of two individuals on Saturday night. The victims, identified as Taryn Vangundy, 36, and Phillip Baker, 37, were riding a Yamaha motorcycle on Hilliard Rome Road when a Honda Civic unexpectedly turned into their path on Roberts Road. Vangundy passed away at the scene, while Baker sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Authorities are appealing for information on the incident and urge anyone with details to reach out to the Columbus Division of Police or Crime Stoppers.
