Identification of pregnant woman killed in San Jose collision
A tragic incident occurred in San Jose where a pregnant woman lost her life along with her unborn child in a car crash. The woman has been identified as Violet Owens Zamora, 25, from San Jose. The crash took place on southbound Interstate 280, north of Bird Avenue. Zamora was driving a green Honda Civic when she lost control of the vehicle, crossed all lanes of traffic, and collided with a Ford F-150 pickup. Sadly, she was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected onto the freeway. Despite this devastating event, two children, aged approximately 2 and 5 years old, who were also in the car, survived the crash.
