Identification of motorcyclist killed in Roanoke accident

The Roanoke Police Department has announced that Leslie Scott Boston, Jr., a 52-year-old resident of Roanoke, was the motorcyclist who tragically lost his life in a collision that occurred on Wednesday, September 17. Reports indicate that Boston was riding at a high speed when he collided with a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado in the 4800 block of Melrose Avenue NW. The pickup truck was pulling out of a parking lot during the incident. The driver of the Silverado remained at the scene and collaborated with the authorities in their investigation. Boston was transported to a nearby hospital where he eventually passed away from his injuries.
