
Identification of motorcyclist killed in Pennsylvania Turnpike crash
The Lehigh County Coroner has identified the individual who tragically lost their life in a motorcycle collision on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. John Joseph Sweeney, a 50-year-old resident of Bristol, passed away from injuries sustained when his motorcycle collided with an SUV in Washington Township. The incident occurred on Sunday, March 30. Another motorcyclist, a 24-year-old man from Bristol, was injured in the crash and taken to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest for treatment. The two motorcyclists were struck by an SUV traveling in the wrong direction on the interstate.
