Identification of motorcyclist after deadly incident in Lewiston
The Niagara County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred in Lewiston on Monday evening. Michael Pendergast, a 34-year-old resident of Amherst, tragically lost his life in the collision. The crash took place at the intersection of 4663 Townline Road and Albright Road, where a pickup truck attempted to turn left in front of Pendergast's southbound motorcycle. Unfortunately, Pendergast, who was believed to be speeding, was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
