Identification of man killed in solo car accident on Boston Road in Lexington
UPDATE: As of June 18 at 4:30 p.m., authorities have named the victim of a fatal collision on Boston Road in Lexington as Jonathon Thompson, aged 49. The Fayette County Coroner confirmed that Thompson succumbed to severe blunt force injuries at the accident site. In the initial report, the Lexington Police Department disclosed that a single-vehicle crash occurred shortly before 2 a.m. on Tuesday, resulting in one fatality. Reports from LEX 18 correspondents at the scene revealed that the overturned truck was involved in the incident. Police closed the roadway at Dylan Place for investigation following the crash but reopened it by 6:30 a.m.
