Identification of man killed in Monday's Benicia accident
A 23-year-old man named Jacob Dortch has been identified as the individual who passed away in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 780 in Benicia on Monday morning. According to the Solano County Coroner's Office, the crash occurred around 7:45 a.m. on westbound Highway 780 close to Southampton Road. The California Highway Patrol reported that a silver Toyota RAV4 collided with a guardrail, resulting in Dortch, who was the only person in the vehicle, losing his life at the scene.
