Identification of man involved in fatal accident on Dublin Boulevard in prior month
The recent traffic fatality on Dublin Boulevard in Colorado Springs has been identified by the El Paso County Corner's Office as 21-year-old Richard Bayne Jr. This marks the 48th traffic-related death in the city this year, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD). Last year at this time, there had been 50 traffic fatalities reported. Following a crash on October 26 at the intersection of Dublin Boulevard and Cloud Dancer Drive, Bayne Jr. was declared dead at the scene after his vehicle swerved off the road and struck a tree in the center median. Another vehicle was also involved, but the driver was unharmed.
