Identification of Florence Resident as Fatal Victim in Boating Incident
In Charleston County, South Carolina, a tragic boating accident resulted in the death of a 22-year-old man from Florence. Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal confirmed that Tallon Goff passed away from injuries sustained in the incident on Tea Farm Creek. According to the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, the accident occurred when two individuals were boating on the creek and went under the Highway 17 bridge, which has low clearance. Goff, a passenger, suffered a fatal head injury during the accident. Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
